Xerox WorkCentre 6515 Printer Improves and Simplifies Small Business Printing
Printing is important to just about every business. Whether you’re printing internal documents for an office meeting, hand-outs for customers or something in between “file-print” is probably one of the most common actions done on business computers. If you’re business or your workgroup doesn’t have a great printer, your printing experience will suffer.
See my video review at the end of this post.
Xerox’s latest printer, the WorkCentre 6515 is all about speed, productivity, and mobility and I’m happy to share this with you in partnership with Xerox.
- With the WiFi direct option, your mobile devices can connect directly to the printer and print. You don’t have to forward documents from your phone or tablet, via email, to a computer for printing anymore.
- Scanning is fast as when you scan wth the automatic document feeder it scans on two sides. You don’t have to take the paper out and flip it over again.
- Touch screen commands on a large display not only make the WorkCentre look modern but enhance its functionality. Touch screens are not new, but are always welcome, instead of old fashioned LED buttons that belong on an arcade gaming machine.
- The ADF scans both sides of your paper in one pass, instead of feeding the paper through 2 – 3 times. Once scanned, you can preview your scan (and rotate and/or delete pages) on the display.
The printer is the “hidden” warrior of offices. It’s the task no one wants to do, but everybody does. Printing is such an important part of a professional’s day. The easier it is to do, the better your day will be.
Kudo’s to Xerox for putting together a funny video showcasing the 6515 in an office – making the IT guy’s day – a bit more boring.
